Months after health inspectors visited Trump Tower Grille and found it to have “live mice” and other health code violations, Donald Trump tore into Elijah Cummings congressional district, calling it a “mess.” Conservatives piled in to call it rat-infested in order to defend their divisive “president.” And on Tuesday, a poor mouse found itself in Trump’s White House, fell out of the ceiling, then landed on NBC News White House Correspondent Peter Alexander’s lap.
In other news: A mouse literally fell out of the ceiling in our White House booth and landed on my lap.

1. Welcome to today’s White House daily #shadowbriefing. It’s now been over 200 days since the the last briefing and the press corps has been reduced to staking out a briefing room mouse. But there are lots of questions and if you want answers you’ve come to the right place.

Mice in the White House and bedbugs in Trump properties. I see a pattern here.

Maybe the Trump administration was going to feed the mouse to Stephen Miller or Kellyanne Conway for a snack, IDK.
