Donald Trump is gaslighting America by trying to manipulate the public into believing that his awful poll numbers are actually good. Even at the conservative-leaning pollster Rasmussen, Trump’s approval numbers fell in the last two days. And at RealClearPolitics, Trump has an average of 41.8 percent approving and 54.1 percent disapproving of his job performance. Still, Trump somehow thinks his polls numbers are great and he even gave a false statistic on fake news stories.
“Can you believe that despite 93% bad stories from the Fake News Media (should be getting good stories), today we had just about our highest Poll Numbers, including those on Election Day?” President Crazy Pants tweeted. “The American public is wise to the phony an dishonest press. Make America Great Again!”

Trump is straight up lying.
Everything coming from the White House is absolutely Fake News!

No, we can’t believe it. Maybe because…
* Your polling average today is 41.2%,
* Which is lower than one week ago.
* Even your precious Rasmussen is 49%,
* Which is lower than two days ago!
So, today isn’t your “highest Poll Numbers.”

The American public knows what the real source of fake news is. You have a mirror, right?

You know how I know you lie? Because I’m intelligent, unlike your base.

Your poll numbers have even dropped a little bit as of Wednesday. Rasmussen is an outlier. pic.twitter.com/LP0x2coreH

Where do you get your FAKE DATA?

The worst part of Trump’s tweet isn’t the man who unleashed it, but it’s his supporters who chime in to say “Best president ever!” just after he told another lie, one that can be easily Googled for verification. When the fever breaks, they’re going to have a huge slap in the face from reality.
