Rudy Giuliani, the lead attorney for Donald Trump, told ABC’s This Week host George Stephanopoulos that the reason he doesn’t want Trump to testify is because “our recollection keeps changing.” The two were discussing the bombshell article published by the New York Times that reveals Trump’s lawyers’ letter to special counsel Robert Mueller which admits that the former reality show star “dictated” his son’s statement on the infamous Trump Tower meeting. That statement, though, was misleading because it stated that the meeting “primarily discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children” and omitted any mention of Hillary Clinton.
Sunday morning, Giuliani said: “This is the reason you don’t let the president testify. Our recollection keeps changing, or we’re not even asked a question and somebody makes an assumption.”

Facts do not change. The truth does not change. Only lies change. Trump’s letter on the tower meeting could cause him problems if it’s seen as an attempt to obstruct Mueller’s investigation into possible Russia collusion with his campaign.
The Trump Tower meeting was initiated because the Russians said they could deliver damaging information on Hillary Clinton. The statement was initially put out in Donald Trump Jr.’s name and now, we find that his father actually dictated it.
In a letter to Mueller, Trump’s lawyers said he “dictated a short but accurate response to the New York Times” about the infamous Trump Tower meeting with Russians. But here are FIVE TIMES @JaySekulow and @PressSec previously denied Trump’s role in the misleading statement. pic.twitter.com/DINgjFdKvL

The more you know.
Why isn’t Trump capable of hiring a good attorney?
