The GOP is just getting more and more interesting! Recently, GOP Rep. Ralph Norman of South Carolina was having a meeting with constituents when he suddenly pulled out a loaded handgun.

Yes, you read that correctly: He pulled out a handgun — specifically a loaded .38 Smith and Wesson.

According to the Post and Courier, Norman is a concealed carry permit holder and apparently wanted to prove the point “that guns are only dangerous in the hands of criminals.” He also said:

Guns don’t shoot people; people shoot guns.

Idiotic people who have guns and bring them out at very bad times also sometimes shoot people, Ralph.

Norman also said:

I’m not going to be a Gabby Giffords. I don’t mind dying, but whoever shoots me better shoot well or I’m shooting back.

Gabby Giffords is the former representative of Arizona who was shot in the head during an event in 2011.

Apparently, this meeting was about gun violence, so that’s why Ralph felt it was perfectly okay to bring a loaded weapon to a dinner about it.

Makes PERFECT sense.

One of the people present, Lori Freemon, who also happens to be part of the group Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, was asked about Norman’s actions at the meeting. She said it was “a far cry from what responsible gun ownership looks like.” She also stated:

I had looked forward to a respectful dialogue with my representative about common-sense gun violence prevention policies.

She wasn’t looking for you to pull out your compensation piece, Ralph. Freemon also said:

Instead, I felt unsafe when he insisted on showing us his loaded gun and keeping it out on the table for much of our conversation.

Ralph is delusional enough to think that if he has a gun and someone else comes in with one and starts shooting, he can take them out, or so he told the people at the dinner. So now he’s been trained in situations like that, just like the police.

No, I don’t buy that either.

I think he’s just another ammosexual who thinks because he has a gun and a permit he’s badass enough to be able to take down anyone who threatens him when in reality, that gun is compensation for a tiny penis and the two brain cells he’s struggling to work with.
