GOP Senators Rip Steve Bannon A New One Over Bizarre Romney Attack (TWEETS)

Utah’s GOP Senators Orrin Hatch and Mike Lee have had it with big ugly bloviator Steve Bannon, who took to the stage to stump for Republican senatorial candidate Roy Moore by personally attacking national Republicans, including Utah icon Mitt Romney.

You see, Romney is no fan of Roy Moore:

Infuriated by the tweet, Bannon went after Romney, his children and his Mormon faith in “burn-it-all-down” retaliation at the Moore rally in Fairhope, AL on Tuesday:

“You hid behind your religion. You went to France to be a missionary while men were dying in Vietnam. Do not talk about honor and integrity,” Bannon said. “You ran for commander in chief and had five sons — not one day of service in Afghanistan or Iraq. We have 7,000 dead and 52,000 casualties, and where were the Romneys during those wars? Judge Roy Moore has more honor and integrity in his pinky finger than your entire family.”

Sen. Hatch, a Mormon, released a statement slamming Bannon, posting it on Twitter:

“Mitt is a close personal friend, an honest leader, a great American, and someone who has sought every opportunity possible to serve our country,” Hatch said.

Utah’s other senator, Mike Lee, also bashed Bannon in a Twitter post:

And Gov. Herbert made his view on Bannon quite public, too:

Donald Trump is the recipient of five deferments which allowed him to skip serving in the military. Four of those were for college while the other was because his feet hurt. Trump’s sons are not military members. It’s like Bannon never met Trump before.
