Today marked yet another incident in the never-ending saga with Russia and its sketchy involvement with the presidential election. While some Republicans in Congress have sided with President Obama’s efforts to punish Russia, the so-called party of liberty appears to have some idgits who appear to love Putin as much as President-elect Trump claims he doesn’t.
Republican Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ), for example, had a Trump-esque moment when he stupidly sided with a foreign nation hostile to the United States.
Here was Franks earlier today:

No word yet on whether he thinks computers are evil.
Franks, who clearly needs to start reading something other than Breitbart, found himself on the receiving end of smackdown on Twitter. A reporter for Think Progress really nailed Franks when he tweeted out the following:
I am a member of the media. Given your view on transparency, can I have the password to your personal email account? https://t.co/Uy58viV9Gk

Maybe his credit card info as well? We are now smack dab in the middle of a biohazard level 3 Idiocracy, and the only way to survive is to call out criminal stupidity such as that made by Rep. Trent Franks. Apparently, the GOP now trusts the former KGB to tell the truth.
