Revealed: Trump’s Twitter Tantrum Was Launched After Hearing What Mueller Wants To Ask Him

Donald Trump always launches a tweetstorm each morning, but today’s was even more off the rails than usual and now we know why. According to what sources told ABC News, special counsel Robert Mueller wants to ask Trump about obstruction of justice and that triggered him, so of course, he tried to obstruct justice again by calling for his Attorney General to fire Mueller. Sessions can’t fire Mueller, by the way. That would be up to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and we’re pretty sure he’s not considering it.

“This is a terrible situation and Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop this Rigged Witch Hunt right now, before it continues to stain our country any further,” 45 tweeted. “Bob Mueller is totally conflicted, and his 17 Angry Democrats that are doing his dirty work are a disgrace to USA!”

Then, he whined about his former campaign manager being behind bars even though Paul Manafort is in prison awaiting trial because he violated the terms of his bail.

According to ABC, the catalyst of the former reality show star’s attacks on the Russia probe this morning is that he could be questioned about obstructing justice. Mueller is looking at Trump’s tweets as part of an investigation into whether he obstructed justice and also as part of a larger pattern of behavior, according to the New York Times. And Trump’s tweets are a goldmine.

So far, there have been 191 charges and indictments against 32 people – including 4 members of Trump’s campaign, one of which is in prison waiting for his trial – and 3 companies. That doesn’t sound very witch hunt-y to me.
