The French Create #Voyageavecmoi To Support Muslims In Fear Of Traveling After The Attack

A Twitter hashtag was created in line with Australia’s #IllRideWithYou in the aftermath of the attack. In December, after a lone gunman held people hostage in a Lindt cafe in Sydney, Australia, thousands of messages of support were posted online for Muslims who were in fear of an Islamophobic backlash.

#VoyageAvecMoi, which translates in English to ‘Travel With Me’ will restore your faith in humanity following the attack by three gunmen at Charlie Hebdo’s office, in which 12 people were fatally shot down.

Because love triumphs over evil.

“If you are afraid, we’ll accompany you.”

“If anyone wants , I can be around Golden Star Ternes metro from anytime until late afternoon when i start work.”

“On the metro 9 morning and/or evening. Moncler black & dark blond hair very long . Contact me for details if you want.”

There’s always going to be a hashtag hater:-(

Well done. Unity is the key. Division is the problem.

Division: Mosques are being attacked in France. On Wednesday, shots were fired in the direction of a Muslim prayer hall in Port-la-Nouvelle in southern France.  Several percussion grenades were thrown into the courtyard of a mosque in Le Mans, west of Paris.
