Donald Trump’s aides and confidants are suddenly concerned about the president’s “mood changes from one minute to the next” even though he has exhibited bizarre behavior for years now. The signs were all there but his most recent erratic behavior over his false claims about Alabama being in Hurricane Dorian’s projected path has aides alarmed.
We’re just hoping that the concerned aide who spoke to Business Insider is the one who carries the “football” with launch codes for nuclear weapons because it’s 2019 and this is the world we’re living in with an unhinged “president.” But, it’s not just one aide that has grown increasingly rattled over Trump’s behavior so the odds are in our favor.
“No one knows what to expect from him anymore,” one former White House official told the outlet. “His mood changes from one minute to the next based on some headline or tweet, and the next thing you know his entire schedule gets tossed out the window because he’s losing his shit.”
According to what sources told Business Insider, Trump’s advisers are particularly concerned over his stubborn refusal to admit that he was wrong in claiming that Alabama was going to be hit by Hurricane Dorian. Trump has always been incapable of admitting to a mistake, though.
They believe that his frustration is compounded by stress about the 2020 election and the economy’s recent downturn.
“People are used to the president saying things that aren’t true, but this Alabama stuff is another story,” the former official said. “This was the president sending out patently false information about a national-emergency situation as it was unfolding.”
Trump has been on a roll for days trying to find some backup for his claims. In a mind-boggling moment, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration supported Trump’s bizarre claim with a former official of the NOAA calling the agency out over its “moral cowardice.”
Perhaps the darkest day ever for @noaa leadership. Don’t know how they will ever look their workforce in the eye again. Moral cowardice.

Trump just can’t let it go even though this is the least of his scandals. The former reality show star made it worse by showing the world where his priorities are during a natural disaster while Americans along the Eastern coast prepared to be hammered by the hurricane.
“He’s deteriorating in plain sight,” one Republican strategist who’s in frequent contact with the White House told the outlet.
Asked why the president was obsessed with Alabama instead of the states that would actually be affected by the storm, the strategist said, “you should ask a psychiatrist about that; I’m not sure I’m qualified to comment.”
That quote should scare the fuck out of every citizen in this country but the Red Hats consider it a win if their president throws us into another chaotic moment.
Another individual weighed in, someone who was close to Trump’s legal team during the Russia investigation, saying that his recent public statements were “nothing compared to what he’s like behind closed doors.”
“He’s like a bull seeing red,” the person added. “There’s just no getting through to him, and you can kiss your plans for the day goodbye because you’re basically stuck looking after a 4-year-old now.”
This isn’t the first time Trump has denied actual facts and we’re sure we’re just moments away from the “president” displaying yet another unpresidential hissy-fit on Twitter.
Oh, wait, here we go:
The Washington Post’s @PhilipRucker (Mr. Off the Record) & @AshleyRParker, two nasty lightweight reporters, shouldn’t even be allowed on the grounds of the White House because their reporting is so DISGUSTING & FAKE. Also, add the appointment of MANY Federal Judges this Summer! https://t.co/7d33tzKxXq
