During a campaign rally in Moon Township, Pa for Rep. Rick Saccone (R), who is running for Congress, Trump decided to take a few minutes — or all of them — to tell the audience how the Olympics would have been a complete failure without him.
Yeah, now he’s taking credit for that when he wasn’t even IN South Korea.
“I’ll tell you, we did a great job on the Olympics. President Moon of South Korea said without Donald Trump the Olympics would have been a total failure.”
I’m not entirely sure why he thinks this since he didn’t compete at all — maybe he was there in spirit form?
Immediately after that statement, he also took credit for the lessened threat of a nuclear attack during those same games. He stated:
“It’s a little hard to sell tickets when you think you are going to be nuked. But when North Korea called and said they wanted to be in the Olympics, everybody said let’s get tickets and go.”
Well, except for him that is, the idiot.
Still not talking about Saccone, which was why he was there in the first place, Trump continued his narcissistic bragging talking about how he has a meeting with Kim Jong-un in the near future:
“When the South Korean representatives who just left North Korea came outside, a big throng of press, they announced Kim Jong-un would like to meet with President Trump.”
Not done, he, of course, had to make jabs at former Presidents Obama, Bush, and Clinton with:
“Well, they say well, Obama could have done that. Trust me, he wouldn’t have done it. By the way, neither would bush or Clinton. Anybody could have done it. Obama could have done it. Obama had his chance.”
Of course, he doesn’t mention the fact that North Korea has been asking every American president for a face-to-face for YEARS, and none have agreed to it without preconditions that North Korea refused to meet. This dumbass jumped at the chance to meet because it made him feel important.
Trump posted a tweet earlier this week about this supposed meeting, bragging non-stop, and talking about MAGA, which we all know is his usual MO.
The deal with North Korea is very much in the making and will be, if completed, a very good one for the World. Time and place to be determined.

He shocked a lot of people in Washington and around the world with this tweet, though we shall see if he actually comes through. He also said that part of this deal is that North Korea will cease missile tests in the weeks leading up to this talk. I personally am not holding my breath that either of these events will ultimately happen.
As for Saccone, Trump did decide to give him some love on Twitter after taking over his campaign rally to tout his own bullshit “achievements.”

So, basically, Trump is as unstable as ever and Rick Saccone was sadly disappointed if he thought that Trump would discuss him at all at his own campaign rally.
