Trump Considering Re-Hiring His Wife-Beater Pal Rob Porter Because Of Course He Is

Donald Trump has been a busy boy lately, what with his Twitter ramblings and now his reported hopes of bringing back his bro, Rob Porter, the guy accused of abusing his two ex-wives.

According to the New York Times, Trump has kept in contact with his bro-ski and he’s mentioned that he hopes Porter will come back. Apparently, an official told the Times that Trump isn’t happy with how things are currently being run.

After the abuse allegations came to light, both Trump and John Kelly had to do some fast talking after they defended the abusive bastard. Trump claimed that Porter denied the allegations and that he thought Porter “has a great career ahead of him.” Kelly, on the other hand, defended Porter by saying he was “a man of true integrity and honor” and “a friend, a confidant and a trusted professional.” Later, he had to backtrack, of course, and say all the right things about domestic abuse being, you know… bad.

Yeah, we know it’s bad, you idiot.

Considering all of the people that have left Trump’s staff, it honestly wouldn’t surprise me if some foolish mortal did decide to come back for round two. I mean, they decided under their own steam to join his staff the first time around. It makes me question their mental stability, but what do I know?

After all of the shit hit the fan, the press found out that the security clearance process to join Trump’s staff had some serious problems. Apparently, Kelly and others knew about Porter’s issues since it came up through the FBI background check and they let him work there anyway. Naughty boys! Supposedly they’ve fixed things now and Jared Kushner’s security clearance was downgraded- which I personally found hilarious. However, this is also supposedly why several other staff members left.

Personally, I would jump ship too if I worked for a psycho. But, that’s just me.
