We’ve all witnessed the incoherent ravings of Donald Trump when he goes off-teleprompter, but the attention-deficit president still raised a few eyebrows in Pensacola, FL on Friday, when he turned his rant on veterans into mocking the ratings of Arnold Schwarzenegger as host of “Celebrity Apprentice.”
“And I must tell you, I can’t believe that Arnold Schwarzenegger bombed so badly on The Apprentice, my poor beautiful show,” Mr Trump said. “Oh, it was so successful. Get a big movie star and he can’t pull it off.”
This isn’t the first time Trump has gone after after Schwarzenegger’s “Apprentice” ratings. The two have feuded over several issues including the deadly violence in Charlottesville, VA at the white supremacist neo-Nazi rally last August, when Arnold slammed Trump’s response that “both sides” were responsible for the carnage that resulted in one death and 19 injuries.
“There are not two sides to bigotry and there are not two sides to hatred,” said Schwarzenegger at the time. “And if you choose to march with a flag that symbolizes the slaughter of millions of people, there are not two sides to that.”
Another time Schwarzenegger attacked Trump for his actions on climate change.
Regardless of his dislike for Arnold Schwarzenegger, there is something definitely off about Donald Trump these days. What it is exactly, we don’t know. Rumors have been flying that the problem could be anything from the onset of dementia to use of too much speed. But America will discover if Trump still retains all his marbles when he heads for a full presidential physical at Walter Reed Hospital in early January.
In the meantime, sources close to Donald Trump say they are absolutely terrified of his erratic behavior, in and outside of the White House.
