Trump Is Whining About His Poll Numbers While At The G7 Summit

Donald Trump ventured abroad for this weekend’s G7 Summit in Biarritz, France and it got pretty weird, of course. In an image circulating on the Internet, the former reality show star appears to be wearing high-heeled shoes. OK, we’ll give Shorty a pass for that. But, while in France, Trump has been tweeting about the ”fake and disgusting news” in an attempt to deflect from reports of the looming recession.

Trumpists will vote for the pussy grabber no matter what he does, but Independents will doom Trump’s prospects for reelection if/when the economy takes a swift downturn. So, naturally, Trump is citing a fake news poll, Rasmussen, to claim that he’s more popular than all of the other pollsters’ ratings, including Fox News.

Twitter users pounced.

This is true.

The number Trump cited is nothing to brag about, by the way. In 2012, Trump’s favorite pollster predicted that Mitt Romney would ‘handily” defeat Barack Obama. And now, Trump is even disparaging Fox News over its poll numbers. Trump still believes that he won the popular vote in 2016, so the bar is pretty low anyway. If anyone finds a way out of this timeline, please send me a map, thank you.
