Donald Trump on Wednesday blasted out a crazy-time tweet over the historic fall for the Dow Jones Industrial Average earlier this week. Trump has repeatedly taken credit for Wall Street gains but now that the market is tanking, he hasn’t mentioned it until now.
“In the ‘old days,’ when good news was reported, the Stock Market would go up,” Trump tweeted. “Today, when good news is reported, the Stock Market goes down. Big mistake, and we have so much good (great) news about the economy!”
In the “old days,” when good news was reported, the Stock Market would go up. Today, when good news is reported, the Stock Market goes down. Big mistake, and we have so much good (great) news about the economy!

That doesn’t make any sense. If someone can translate that from Turnip to English, I would appreciate it.

There is no “great news”. You are President…

So when the stock market is up, it’s due to your policies. But when it’s down it’s not??? Hogwash.

What the hell does this tweet even mean??????

???? Absolutely the most ridiculous thing ANYONE Has ever said! Careful old man your dementia is showing a little more everyday. I hope you are still lucid enough to realize what is happening to you when Mueller stops by to arrest your ass for money laundering and treason.

In case you didn’t know, the stock market is not the economy. The vast majority of your base is not invested at all.

That is the worst attempt at spin I’ve ever heard.

I’m beginning to suspect that you’re not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
— President Jeff (@PresidentJeffPJ) February 7, 2018
… shouldn’t you, as President of the United States, have a more nuanced and less facile understanding of the stock market?

Trump’s parade is already expected to have more viewers than any of the parades that Obama ever ordered the military to throw for himself.

It’s clear that President Stable Genius does not understand anything about the stock market. All he knows is that if it goes up, it’s because he’s so awesome. If it goes down, that has nothing to do with him.
